Agnieszka Wądołowska
Agnieszka Wądołowska is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Notes from Poland, an English-language media outlet with a mission to help the world understand Poland.
She has created and leads a network of like-minded, independent English-language media in Central and Eastern Europe. Agnieszka produces and hosts The VoiCEE podcast that captures the diversity of CEE and by promoting local experts and giving voice to the region that is more often talked to rather than listened to.
In 2024 she graduated from Advanced Leadership Programme for Top Talents at the Center for Leadership. She was 2022 Fellow at the Entrepreneurial Journalism Creators Program at Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at City University of New York, a cohort-based programme aimed at helping creative thinkers from around the globe develop and refine their journalistic products.
Agnieszka is also devoted to training the next generations and helping them enter the media world, teaching at private universities in Warsaw.
She has kicked-off her career in Polish mainstream media and contributed to Gazeta Wyborcza, Wysokie Obcasy and Duży Format. Throughout her career, she was always most passionate about covering social injustice, especially women’s rights in Poland. She has lived and worked in Warsaw and Vienna.
