Tania Tapia Jáuregui

Tania Tapia Jáuregui  was selected for the 2024 Shortlist with The Sound of Bullets: The Killing of Colombian Journalist Abelardo Liz.

Journalist with a focus on gender, protest, and human rights. She has worked as a journalist for VICE Colombia, ¡PACIFISTA!, and Cerosetenta, where she was also an editor and specialized in analyzing open-source material on incidents of police violence and human rights violations. She has also contributed to Arcadia, Mutante, Bacánika and La Liga contra el Silencio.
