Catherine Nixey

Catherine Nixey was selected for the 2021 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘Death of the office.’

Catherine Nixey is a journalist and author. Her work has appeared in The Economist, The Economist’s 1843 magazine, The Financial Times and The Times among others. She is also an author: her first book, The Darkening Age, won a Royal Society of Literature Jerwood Award, and was translated into ten languages.

Rasit Elibol was selected as runner-up for the 2021 European Press Prize Opinion Award with ‘Merhaba, I’m here to give up my Turkish nationality.’

Rasit Elibol (1984) is a editor and staff writer for the Dutch weekly De Groene Amterdammer since 2017. He previously worked as a freelance journalist for various media. He is an investigative journalist, reporter and commentator and writes about the Netherlands of today. In 2014 he received an award for travel writing.
