Laura Martín

Laura Martín was selected for the 2023 Shortlist with Barrio Salamanca.

After studying Journalism, Laura Martín worked for three years as a journalist for Vocento and Grupo Joly newspapers. In 2017 she completed a master’s degree in Journalism, Data Visualization and a monograph in Graphic Design. She has more than four years of experience in editorial design and dataviz. Currently, she is head of Graphics and New Formats in El Confidencial.

Darío Ojeda

Darío Ojeda was selected for the 2023 Shortlist with Barrio Salamanca.

After graduating in Journalism (Complutense University of Madrid), Darío began working covering sports. He did it for ten years before focusing on transparency, data journalism, and visualization. In 2022 he completed a master’s degree in Journalism and Data Visualization (University of Alcalá). Among other media, he has worked for El Confidencial and Atlántico Hoy. He currently works at Maldita.es.
