Maximilian Popp, born 1986, is the Turkey-Correspondent of the German newsmagazine „Der Spiegel“. He previously covered migration for the magazine. Maximilian studied International Relations in Istanbul and graduated from the „Henri-Nannen-School of Journalism“ in Hamburg.
