Marian Blasberg

Marian Blasberg was selected for the 2025 Shortlist with 3,000 Nautical Miles of Hope.

Marian Blasberg was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, where he later studied Philosophy and Literature. In 2004/05, he attended the Deutsche Journalistenschule in Munich. From 2006 until 2014, he was working as a reporter with the German weekly newspaper Die Zeit. Since 2014, he is a staff writer at Der Spiegel. He is based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
