Lucas Wahl

Lucas Wahl was selected as runner-up for the 2022 European Press Prize Innovation Award for ‘This is us.’ 

Lucas Wahl, who grew up in Hamburg, lives and works as a freelance photographer back in his home country after working in Maastricht, Hanover, Frankfurt and Laos. He works primarily as a portrait and reportage photographer and has also been working with drones for a few years. Lucas is interested in topics such as migration and the environment. He publishes in DIE ZEIT, Spiegel, Stern and the FAZ, among others.
