Idoia Longan

Idoia Longan won the 2022 European Press Prize Special Award for Woman’s body, man’s medicine.

Idoia Longan (Barcelona, 1985) is a full-stack developer. She has worked at the newspaper ‘Ara’ since its foundation in 2010 and is part of the ‘Interactive and new formats’ team developing new multimedia narratives, interactive storytelling and data visualization applications, some of them awarded by the SND (The Society for News Design) and ADG Laus. She has a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and took classes in Denmark and London.
