Elena Erdmann was selected for the 2020 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘The Millions Who Left.’

Elena Erdmann works as a data analyst and journalist at ZEIT ONLINE. She uses her background in Maths and Computer Science to investigate topics such as Climate Change and Global Inequality. With her friends from the data journalism initiative Journocode, she teaches data literacy to other journalists.
