Lucie Liu

Lucie Liu was selected as runner-up for the 2022 European Press Prize Innovation Award for ‘This is us.’ 

Lucie Liu was born in Munich in 1993. She studied political science in Freiburg and Madrid. Liu produced the award-winning documentary “TAIPEILOVE*” filmed in Taipei. She now lives in Berlin and studies social and business communication at the University of the Arts. She is currently producing her second film. For the ZEIT ONLINE project Die 49, she helped to manage the group of 49 and was the first contact person for them.

Julia Kopatzki works as a freelance reporter in Hamburg. Trained at Henri-Nannen-Schule. Her articles were published in media such as DIE ZEIT and ZEIT ONLINE, stern, Süddeutsche Zeitung or Business Punk.
