Valeria Cardi

Valeria Cardi began her career in photography and documentary producing multimedia and short films for the Italian photo agency Prospekt.

In 2011, she joined Panos Pictures, producing, shooting and editing films in Afghanistan, DRC, Jordan, Malawi, Mexico, Mozambique, South Africa and Thailand among others, for online newspapers and magazines, NGOs, international organisations, and film festivals.

She joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2016 as a multimedia producer, where she covers humanitarian news from their London office.

In 2017 Valeria was awarded a grant from the European Journalism Centre to produce a multimedia package looking at the challenges women face getting

Lin Taylor

Lin Taylor is an Australian journalist at the Thomson Reuters Foundation in London. She covers under-reported stories on humanitarian issues, refugees, human trafficking and slavery, gender, land conflicts, and climate change for the Reuter news agency through text, video, audio and images.

 Lin Taylor was selected for the 2018 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘The Smuggling Game‘
