Zeynep Şentek
Zeynep Şentek is Turkish journalist working on investigations, human rights, workers’ rights and military. She works at the independent news platform The Black Sea (theblacksea.eu) on Turkey-related investigations, and is part of the European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) network. She is also a PhD candidate at Heidelberg University, Germany.
Zeynep Şentek was selected for the 2018 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘The Malta Files’.
Stéphane Foucart
Physicist by training, Stéphane Foucart (born in 1973) has been covering environmental sciences for the newspaper Le Monde for about ten years, with a focus on corporate influence on academic and regulatory sciences. He also wrote investigative books on the topic. He was awarded the journalism prizes of the Association of French Science Museums (2012) and the European Meteorological Society (2015) for his coverage of climate change controversies. He was named “science writer of the year” in 2016 by the French Association of Science Journalists and was awarded, along with his colleague Stéphane Horel, the “Grand prix” of the Varenne Foundation for the daily press (2017).
