Timmi Allen

Timmi Allen was selected for the 2020 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘Europol’s Child Abuse Image Geolocated in Ukraine: A Forgotten Story Hidden Behind a Landscape.’

Timmi Allen (born 1961) completed an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering in 1979. He studied at the law faculty in Potsdam in 1986 and graduated in 1988 as ‘Fachschul-Jurist’. Timmi Allen has been a freelance graphic designer since 2007. In October 2014, he joined the Bellingcat investigation team. His focus is on image and video analysis and the creation of 3D objects and content for virtual applications.

Bo

Bo was selected for the 2020 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘Europol’s Child Abuse Image Geolocated in Ukraine: A Forgotten Story Hidden Behind a Landscape.’

Bo has worked since 2009 as a volunteer for Dutch law enforcement and justice and is specialized in tracking down images related to child abuse cases. Bo joined Bellingcat in 2017 to research Europol’s ‘Stop Child Abuse – Trace An Object’ campaign and resolved dozens of images.
