María Isabel Magaña

María Isabel Magaña (1991, Colombia) is a journalist fueled by the urge to embark on adventures and give voice to those stories who have been silenced. Her professional work was transformed when she discovered the power of data in journalism. Ever since, she has worked both in national and international news outlets as a data-driven investigative journalist as well as promoted the right to know in Colombia through QueremosDatos.co. She teaches journalism at La Sabana University and coordinates data projects at Datasketch

Valeria Cardi

Valeria Cardi began her career in photography and documentary producing multimedia and short films for the Italian photo agency Prospekt.

In 2011, she joined Panos Pictures, producing, shooting and editing films in Afghanistan, DRC, Jordan, Malawi, Mexico, Mozambique, South Africa and Thailand among others, for online newspapers and magazines, NGOs, international organisations, and film festivals.

She joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2016 as a multimedia producer, where she covers humanitarian news from their London office.
