Ekaterina Fomina was selected for the 2019 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘I’m going for an HIV

Ekaterina Fomina gained experience in journalism by working as a special correspondent for the independent Russian newspaper, Novaya Gazeta. Her research interests include domestic violence, teenagers’ psychological problems, LGBT rights, and women’s rights. She is currently based in Tbilisi, Georgia, doing a master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratization.

Filip Olšovský has been a reporter at Slovak weekly magazine .tyzden for more than four years. He focuses on several topics: culture, politics, sports and architecture. Filip has a Bachelor’s degree in political science and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in International Relations of the Visegrad region.
