After years of investigations about sexual violence in the French Catholic Church, Mathieu Martiniere and Daphné Gastaldi decided to investigate sexual abuse in French sport. For a year, they have been investigating how the world of sport has protected coaches, athletes or leaders accused of sexual abuse. Even when they where accused of child sexual abuse. Martiniere and Gastaldi have met hundreds of victims, athletes from thirty different sports. They have discovered internal documents and proof revealing huge dysfunctions and failures to disclose abuse to the law. This investigation was necessary to uncover a real taboo in this very closed environment where the scores and the medals prevailed. Until now.
