Shaun Walker is an international correspondent for The Guardian. He reported from Moscow for more than a decade. He is now based between Warsaw and Kyiv and mostly covers Russia’s war in Ukraine. His book The Illegals on the century-long history of Russia’s most secret spy programme, will be published in 2025.
