Hanna Liubakova

Hanna Liubakova was selected for the 2021 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘Sisters of Europe.’

Hanna Liubakova is a Belarusian freelance journalist. She has covered various regions including Belgium, the UK, Poland, France and Chechnya. Her career kicked off at independent Belarusian TV channel Belsat, where she worked as a correspondent and presenter. She was the recipient of a Vaclav Havel Journalism Fellowship at Radio Free Europe, as well as a World Press Institute Fellowship in the US. Hanna is currently working with Outride.rs, an international journalism platform producing in-depth and interactive reports.
