Nicky Milne

Nicky Milne was selected for the 2020 European Press Prize shortlist with ‘Stonewall 50+.’

Nicky Milne is the Head of Documentaries at the Thomson Reuters Foundation and a passionate film maker, photographer, executive producer, and the director of ‘Stonewall 50: Where next for LGBT+ lives?’. With a background in documentary film-making, she specialises in key human rights documentaries shot globally.

Prior to working at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, Nicky Milne spent many years in TV production, including presenting, directing/producing and executive producing factual programming, directing high-end documentaries for BBC, Channel 4 and PBS, among others. She held various positions for BBC, including as an executive in Factual Commissioning.

She holds an LLB from the London School of Economics as well as a MA in photojournalism.
